The other fur baby!

This is our other fur baby, Milli. She's a 7 month old AKC registered flashy brindle female, and a wee little thing at only 40 lbs. We expect her to reach about 50. Because my focus is on larger boxers, Milli won't be bred (her head and body shape aren't to standard anyway).

I thought you might like to 'meet' her anyway, though!

Place number 4 is taken... and x-ray is scheduled!

Hooray for our place number 4 applicant! He and is wife look to be wonderful boxer owners and we look forward to helping them add to their furry family! Also, Harlow's x-ray is scheduled for May 16th, at 4:45 in the afternoon! At that appointment we should know just how many puppies we should be expecting!

Aaaaaand place number 3 is taken!

Congratulations to the newest approved applicant, who is now place number 3!

I'm guessing (blindly) that there will be 5 puppies, so get those applications in and score the next two spots for an almost garaunteed spot at getting one of these beautiful puppies!

Also, if you don't have one already - please sign up for a Paypal account and learn how to either link it to your bank account, or how to fund it. This will be the preferred method of taking deposits.

And Harlow is exactly 3 weeks pregnant today! 6 more weeks to go!

Place numbers 1 and 2 have been given!

I'd like to encourage those who haven't yet submitted an application to please do so - the first and second placeholders have been chosen! We're expecting a litter of approximately 5-7, so getting a place holder between 1-7 better ensures that you'll get a puppy, and the higher the number, the better chance you have of getting the puppy that's your first pick! Yes, the application is a few pages long. But I ensure you the questions are basic, and it doesn't take too long to answer them. This process helps to ensure (on my part) that our puppies go to homes that are best suited for them. Much loves will go in to the whelping of Harlow's babies, not just by Harlow, but by us as well. We want to see these puppies in life long homes, with people that love the breed, and will take physical and emotional care of them. Show us you're willing to put out a little extra effort, and fill out the application, and to reserve a chance to choose a pup! You can follow along with the pregnancy, the birth, and the growth of the puppies until they're ready to be in your home :)

The adoption process

A download for applications will be made available soon.

All approved applicants will be assigned a 'place number' based on when their application was received (both the applicant and myself will have record of their place number). **Please be advised that a place number is NOT an obligation or commitment to adopting a puppy** It is simply my way of being 'fair' to applicants when it comes time to place deposits.

Deposits will be taken when the puppies are 1 week of age. I will contact the 1st place holder, take their deposit on their chosen puppy, then continue in this manner through the list of applicants until all puppies are spoken for. Should a place holder choose to NOT place a deposit at this time, they forfeit their place in line and I will contact the next in line. If puppies are still available after all applicants have been contacted, then puppies will be reserved/adopted on a first come, first served basis.

Deposits will be 50% of the price of the puppy and are NON-REFUNDABLE, no exceptions. A deposit is necessary to reserve a puppy.

Sealed reverse brindle (black) pups: $950

All other colors: $550

All puppies will have tails docked, dewclaws removed, first shots and deworming, and microchip placement.

A little about Harlow... and puppies expected!

Our wonderful 2 year old flashy fawn female, Harlow, is a big girl! At almost 80 lbs, and solid build, she is absolutely stunning. Her temperament is wonderful - great with our 4 child family, happily letting the 1 year old use her as a jungle gym. She's no lazy pup though, she is extremely protective of her home and family, but not so aggressive that we can't have invited and introduced guests to our home. After a proper introduction, Harlow displays that oh-so-typical boxer wiggle! Harlow was bred to a 95 lb AKC registered sealed reverse brindle male, 'Tux', and is due to have puppies May 30th! Subscribe to this blog to keep updated! Applications will be available soon for those interested in adopting one of Harlow's puppies!
